BPC Banking Technologies, the leading provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the global financial industry, announced today that the on-line applications within its SmartVista solution have been certified by IBM as “Ready for DB2”. BPC’s technology passed IBM's demanding certification criteria in only two months. Now institutions running their business on DB2 can benefit from the combined technologies of IBM and BPC to connect and interact at a personal level with customers, along with reliability, security, and ease of use.
SmartSwitch provides a real-time transaction engine to manage the complete end-to-end requirements of payments switching by delivering three core areas of functionality including interface support, authorization routing, and stand-in authorization. As the ATM channel has grown increasingly important to banks, BPC created SmartATM—a sophisticated system that allows banks to automate, service and monitor their ATM network management. The award-winning SmartGuard solution combines the advantages of online and offline fraud prevention and detection, and enables both card issuers and acquirers to track 100% of transactions coming from traditional and emerging delivery channels such as ATMs, POS, e-commerce, and m-commerce.
“This certification demonstrates again BPC’s commitment to working within industry standards to ensure our clients always benefit from the best technology available. We are a long term partner with IBM and “Ready for DB2” is an important step in further building our worldwide cooperation,” added Vasily Grigoriev, CEO, BPC Banking Technologies.
