Actuare announces availability of June 2012 re-registration messages

21 June 2012

Actuare, a leading provider of FIX and ISO 20022 messaging solutions streamlining investment funds distribution, today announces a further release of its re-registration solution to support the latest June 2012 market practice changes.

The TISA Re-registration Project has brought together the market participants in order to achieve timely in-specie transfer of consumer assets, plans and wrappers between nominees no later than end 2012. This has involved working with the UK Funds Market Practice Group (UKFMPG) to define the market practice and messaging standards, and forming TISA Exchange Limited (TeX) to handle the legal and service level framework.

Actuare has been involved in the Re-registration Project since its inception and is one of five system providers working with TISA and TeX to bring about electronic re-registration. Actuare has a comprehensive solution delivering efficient management of transfers, seamless messaging and full interoperability on a proven platform. Actuare is also a key participant in the UKFMPG and has helped define today’s market practice.

The new release of the Actuare system incorporates changes since the November 2011 market practice to ensure the system is ready with the latest June 2012 messages. This release includes further enhancements to the application framework to provide more flexibility for the addition of SIPPs, other pension products, Junior ISAs and CREST equities and bonds. The new release also provides additional functionality for workflow users.

“Much has gone into building our re-registration solution over the past two years and this release reflects the maturity of our application” commented Charles Kilkenny, CEO of Actuare. “It enables us to use the latest market practice for our interoperability testing with the other four system providers and demonstrates how fast these messages can be implemented and tested on the Actuare system. We look forward to continued collaboration as part of the Interoperability Working Group.”
