Open GI unveils latest developments in SME trading at BIBA

12 June 2012

Open GI were able to show brokers at this year’s BIBA Conference in Manchester, how online trading for SMEs could be made easy with Open Trader.

Open GI were overwhelmed with the amount of interest received at the two-day conference surrounding Open Trader, Open GI’s leading online trading platform for Commercial Lines. Brokers were keen to see a demonstration of how Open Trader provides access to multiple SME insurer products via the Open Market, alongside the existing PowerPlace range. By providing greater access to as many SME markets and products as possible from a single platform, brokers were able to see how they could benefit from straightforward workflow, minimal referrals and integration to their Back-Office, without any data re-keying.

Brokers were also keen to see how they could make substantial telecommunication savings with Open GI’s new sister company, Blue Fire Communications.

Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, commented: “Since its launch in 2008, Open Trader is well established and processes nearly a million Commercial Lines’ quotes per annum, generating approximately £75 million in Gross Written Premium (GWP) each year. By adding Open Market insurer products to the platform, brokers will now have more choice.”
