The SOFGEN group (SOFGEN), an international banking IT consulting firm, is pleased to announce the successful "go-live" at Tropical Bank Limited, Uganda, of Harland Financial Solution's CreditQuest™, a comprehensive end-to-end credit risk management system.
When Tropical Bank identified the need to automate its credit processes, detailed analysis of major credit risk management applications in use across sub-Saharan Africa was undertaken. The evaluation included numerous site visits and culminated in the selection of CreditQuest as the best fit to Tropical Bank's requirements.
"We sought to implement a single, comprehensive, unified software and database solution to manage the whole Credit Risk Management process which in turn would reduce the bank's credit administration costs, improve our credit quality, reduce our compliance risk and enhance our credit reporting.
