Online accounting software provider, Twinfield, part of global information services group, Wolters Kluwer, has joined forces with practice management software company, Cubic Interactive, to produce a fully integrated software solution for project-centric enterprises in the construction and service industries.
As a result of the collaboration between the two companies, Twinfield’s cloud-based online accounting software will be tightly integrated with Cubic Interactive’s Rapport 3, to provide a ‘Software-as-a-Service’ (SaaS) practice management and accounting solution which is designed to allow small to medium-sized, project-centric enterprises in the construction and service industries to take informed, financial and strategic decisions.
Broadway Malyan, a global architecture, urbanism and design practice will become the first organisation to benefit from the integrated solution. Broadway Malyan is a truly global business with 15 offices in all the major conurbations around the world.
The practice’s six UK offices and its Madrid office were the first to ‘go live’ with the solution on 1st May.
Commenting on the integration with Rapport 3, Twinfield’s UK Country Manager, Kevin McLoughlin, comments, “We are actively looking to develop our partner programme to include specialist vertical market software suppliers like Cubic Interactive – this collaboration is therefore a step in the right direction and we are delighted to be working with them.”
McLoughlin continues, “Twinfield’s published application programming interface makes it easy for all developers to work with and integrate with Twinfield. Once completed our TwinApps market makes these integration modules readily available to other customers so that future integration can take place simply and easily.”
Commenting on the decision to integrate with Twinfield accounting, Daniel LoGiudice, Director at Cubic Interactive, comments, “What impressed us about Twinfield was its scalability, security and its speed of operation. Twinfield was designed as a cloud-based solution over 10 years ago and its architecture means that is able to handle large volumes of data without this having any impact on the overall performance of the system.”
LoGiudice concludes, “Our integration module is now available so that other Rapport 3 customers will be able to integrate with Twinfield Accounting in a matter of just a few days.”
