Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced today that it has won a Readers’ Choice Award in the category of “Best Governance Risk & Compliance Product or Service” at the 13th annual Banking Technology Awards.
The award highlights Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ GRC solutions, which allow organizations to manage a single area of risk or work within a holistic GRC framework, including compliance, operational and financial risk management, audit and the governance function.
Winners of Banking Technology Readers’ Choice Awards are decided by the publication’s 40,000-strong readership base, compiled of IT decision makers in the financial industry. Readers are asked to vote for what they consider to be the best systems across the product areas that were identified as having the widest range of candidates.
“The unique thing about the Banking Technology Readers’ Choice Awards is that it is the votes of the user community that count, so the winners can take pride in the fact that the award reflects success with them. Each year they get more competitive as companies realize the value of that recognition, and this year was the most hard-fought so far,” said David Banister, editor of Banking Technology.
"This is the first year this category has appeared in the Banking Technology Readers’ Choice awards line up, which highlights the growing importance of GRC among financial institutions,” said Todd Cooper, vice president and general manager of Enterprise Risk & Compliance at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. “The fact that the readers of Banking Technology took the time to vote for us in this category is truly a testament to the strength of our industry knowledge, content and technology, which are featured in all of our solutions. We are honored to receive this accolade."
