Sopra Banking Software a ‘Leader’ in independent evaluation of global banking platforms

Sopra Banking Software, a world leader in banking software and services, is pleased to announce that it is listed as a ‘Leader’ in the most recent Forrester Wave on banking platforms. Forrester Research, Inc., is an independent technology and market research company, and this particular Wave is a regular evaluation of global banking platform vendors. The Wave notes that Sopra Banking’s corporate strategy is very strong and its application architecture had the highest score in the evaluation.

On basis of 62 criteria, Forrester has analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of top vendors in banking software and published its findings in its most recent Wave entitled, The Forrester Wave™: Global Banking Platforms, Q4 2012. Their independent research seeks to illuminate "where vendors stand in relation to each other to help application development and delivery professionals in financial services firms select the right partner for their off-the-shelf global banking platform, including their core banking and multichannel solution."

Forrester invited eight significant companies, among which Sopra Banking Software, for a full assessment. Selection was based on solution coverage, architecture, global delivery capacity, past successes and mind share among Forrester clients. Forrester’s report grouped Sopra Banking in the category of ‘Leaders’, highlighting that it “received the highest score in the application architecture category and showed no real weaknesses.” Furthermore, the Wave stated that “Sopra Banking Software’s product strategy is strong, and its corporate strategy is very strong — both without any weak points.”
