Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales automation solutions for the financial services industry, announced today its receipt of the IRI (Insured Retirement Institute) E-Signature Certification for e-signature processing on the FireLight® platform. Insurance Technologies is the first order entry vendor to receive IRI E-Signature Certification, providing the industry a comprehensive electronic application and fulfillment solution with built-in e-signature that provides agents a trusted and flexible workflow to present and capture e-signature thru multiple options, including capturing the signature directly on tablet devices.
The IRI E-Signature Certification is designed to ensure vendors are fully compliant with current e-signature industry standards and it defines a more rigorous industry-focused set of STP standards. As a provider of electronic business processing with built-in SPeRS, ESIGN and UETA e-signature compliance, Insurance Technologies understands the significance of receiving IRI review and certification.
Insurance Technologies e-signature functionality in the FireLight platform is included without an additional software license, providing the most cost effective and versatile business process in the market today. By aligning with IRI industry e-signature and STP standards, along with industry data standards like ACORD, Insurance Technologies is able to provide a point-of-sale solution with high levels of integrity while driving unparalleled end user adoption. FireLight e-signature capabilities offer multiple signing approaches including both in-person and remote signing methods to meet diverse business processes. To ensure document and signature authenticity, FireLight certifies documents with PKI-based signature signing providing customers a secure platform for processing business.
“We applaud Insurance Technologies for their commitment to this process that was established to ensure that platforms meet rigorous industry standards,” said IRI President and CEO Cathy Weatherford. “IRI E-Signature Certification demonstrates IRI’s commitment to bring together industry leaders to create efficiencies that better the institutions that offer insured retirement strategies and the consumers that rely on those strategies for lifetime income during retirement. The certification provides an independent validation that allows for consistency across the industry. Through the certification, IRI is able to share best practices with members and certified providers, while assuring that standards are current to keep pace with innovative technologies.”
“Our FireLight platform presents a fresh and unique approach to order entry, which eases the rollout and adoption by the field force with significant cost savings along with a cost effective partner relationship,” said Jim Ferrell, VP FireLight Evangelist, Insurance Technologies. “We have worked diligently with the IRI staff to achieve this certification and are proud to have achieved this industry e-signature certification.”
