Microgen has added Nomura Research Institute (NRI) as a reseller and implementation partner for the Japanese market, specifically for its Accounting Hub and Aptitude solutions for financial management and risk/liquidity procedures respectively.
The partnership is particularly targeting compliance business from financial firms that need to align finance and risk processes more thoroughly, due to incoming regulations, such as the Basel III capital adequacy rules, the Solvency II rules for insurers and the IFRS reporting stipulations.
NRI delivers local language communication and configuration capabilities to Japanese clients and the partners intend to use this local knowledge to try and win new business.
“The Microgen Accounting Hub and Aptitude solutions enable financial institutions to manage their accounting at the most granular trade, contract or client account balance level … and to improve transparency,” claims Elizabeth Sipiere, managing director for EMEA-Asia Pacific at Microgen, who said she was “delighted” to be working with NRI.
