Spotlight Financial Marketing, a full–service marketing communications firm focused exclusively on the financial services and technology sector, today announced it has named Simone Reid as Managing Director of its London office.
In her new role, Ms. Reid will oversee the development and implementation of integrated marketing programs for the firm’s its European clients. She will also head Spotlight’s European business development initiatives.
Ms. Reid has more than a decade of experience in business development, trade show management, fund-raising, communications, and media and investor relations roles for venture capital and early-stage technology firms.
Ms. Reid joins Spotlight from Queen Mary Bioenterprises, where she served as the company’s Business Development Director. She led a successful re-branding and communications strategy for the company, a London-based technology start-up hub.
Earlier in her career, she worked for the venture capital arm of Imperial College London, where she worked with a number of technology companies at the Imperial Incubator. She helped these companies build market awareness and value through marketing initiatives targeting potential investors. She also managed external communications between and among the Imperial Incubator, its client companies and investors into those companies.
