Payment Processing Solutions Provider, Aperta, Celebrates its 20th Anniversary

St Louis, MO - 13 April 2012

Aperta, a leading provider of payment processing solutions, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month.

Aperta was formed by 5 former system architects and managers for Unisys Corporation’s payment processing division. This core team comprised Jim Murray, Martin Wylupek, Colin Best, Steve Meechan and David Henderson. All have been actively involved with Aperta and its evolution on a daily basis, though Dave Henderson has recently retired.

“Aperta was formed with the goal of providing world-class payment solutions; these include: image-based check and remittance processing solutions; ACH payments; Electronic Payments; and Automated Clearinghouses to national and international markets. We believe we have achieved much of what we set out to do but we continue to refine and enhance the process to meet the evolving needs of the market,” said Mr. Murray, Aperta’s President.

Aperta has grown to where they now have over 400 clients worldwide in many different industries across the financial, government, commercial and non-profit sectors. The main thing these clients have in common is that each is processing payments. Clients are processing from a few hundred transactions per day to several hundreds of thousands of payments per day.
