Rome, Italy, and New York, USA, 10 April 2012 - TAS Group, a leader in providing applications for EMV transaction acquiring and authorisation and EMV data preparation, announced a partnership with SCIL, the US-based expert EMV payments consultancy and solutions provider to bundle global applications and local capabilities in order to support a wide range of businesses undertaking EMV migration in the United States.
The imminent migration of the US market, already underway, will enable significant opportunities for global interoperability, fraud reduction, NFC (Near Field Communications) and mobile synergy. TAS and SCIL together will ensure that their customers’ can seize the opportunities presented by EMV, providing the right approach and profiting from experience gained in many projects implemented to enable full chip processing capabilities.
The new alliance will allow issuers, acquirers, merchants and processors engaged in EMV projects to benefit from proven technological and business know-how. The joint offering will be focused on EMV data preparation and personalization, transaction acquiring and authorisation, as well as Card Not Present (CNP) transaction security (i.e. 3D Secure). Highly qualified Professional services will complete the proposition, including training, consulting and strategic planning.
