Gold ‘Server Platform’ and Silver ‘Identity and Security, Messaging and Virtualization’ Competencies

ITS earns distinction and market leadership through demonstrated technology success and customer commitment; prominent within the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem

International Turnkey Systems Group (ITS), today announced it has attained a Gold Server Platform Competency and a Silver Identity and Security, Messaging and Virtualization competency, demonstrating a ‘best-in-class’ ability and commitment to meet Microsoft Corp. customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment. Furthermore, the competencies distinguish ITS within the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. A portfolio of competencies showcases that ITS is committed to focusing on in-demand, business solution areas, along with ensuring it can meet the evolving needs of customers because of market changes.

“These Microsoft competencies showcase our expertise and commitment in today’s technology market and demonstrate our deep knowledge of Microsoft and its products,” said Khaled Faraj Al-Saeid, ITS managing director and general manager. “Our plan is to accelerate our customers’ success by serving as technology advisors for their business demands.”

To earn a Microsoft competency, partners must successfully complete exams (resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals) to prove their level of technology expertise and, for gold competencies, designate these certified professionals uniquely to one Microsoft competency, ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity. Partners must also submit customer references that demonstrate successful projects and pass technology and/or sales assessments. For Gold Competencies, partners must also implement a yearly customer satisfaction study and, for many competencies, meet a revenue commitment.

“By achieving a portfolio of competencies, ITS demonstrates deep expertise and consistent capability on the latest Microsoft technology,” said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “ITS has shown true commitment to meeting customer technology needs today and into the future.”

By attaining the Microsoft Gold Server Platform competency, ITS has demonstrated expertise in building, designing, deploying, and supporting the Windows Server operating system, Windows Server–based applications, and the Microsoft server infrastructure. Practically, this means that ITS is better positioned to help support their customers’ business strategies through high levels of availability, agility, and automation across business sectors.

To meet growing security threats, many companies have put together a patchwork of endpoint security solutions that are costly to manage, lack interoperability, and fail to provide a unified picture of the status of their infrastructures. Attaining the Microsoft Silver Identity and Security competency proves ITS’ expertise in deploying integrated, simplified, and comprehensive security solutions that meet customer business security requirements.

All 28 Microsoft technology competencies differentiate a partner’s specific technology capabilities, helping customers find qualified solution providers with expertise in discrete areas quickly and easily.

The Microsoft Partner Network helps partners strengthen their capabilities to showcase leadership in the marketplace on the latest technology, to better serve customers and, with 640,000 Microsoft partners in their ecosystem, to easily connect with one of the most active, diverse networks in the world.
