Version One scoops prestigious Software Satisfaction Award for second year running

24 October 2011

Version One has won the Paperless Office & Document Management category of the Software Satisfaction Awards (SSA11) for the second year running.

Version One was presented with the award by Tony Blair’s former Director of Communications, Alastair Campbell, at a glittering ceremony held at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square on 18 October 2011. This is the third time that Version One has won this prestigious award, having won the paperless office category in both 2007 and 2010, making Version One the most successful document management software provider in the history of the Software Satisfaction Awards.

This year’s Software Satisfaction Awards were jointly run by Sift Media and UK technology association, Intellect. Over 10,000 software users voted in the SSA11, which is an increase of over 3,000 users compared with 2010, underlining the Awards’ increasing significance within the software industry.

Version One was one of four finalists in the Paperless Office & Document Management category and Version One’s managing director, Julian Buck, together with customers from Blenheim Palace, Cornwall College, Nichols plc and the Field Studies Council accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Julian Buck, Managing Director of Version One, says, “It is an excellent achievement for Version One to once again be named the Paperless Office & Document Management champion at the Software Satisfaction Awards, especially as this year’s awards were so hotly contested.”

Buck continues, “To receive such positive feedback from our customers is testament to Version One’s functionality-rich and user-friendly document management and imaging solutions and our high levels of customer service.”

Version One’s suite of document management and imaging solutions enables the electronic creation, storage, management, delivery, authorisation and processing of business documents. By using Version One’s systems integrated into their accounting/ERP systems, businesses improve process efficiencies, free-up document storage space and can typically enjoy a return on investment within just six months.
