HFMWeek U.S. Hedge Fund Services Awards Recognizes SS&C Fund Services.
SS&C Technologies (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced that SS&C Fund Services has been named the winner of the "Best Administrator — Technology Provider" award presented at the 3rd annual HFMWeek U.S. Hedge Fund Services Awards luncheon on October 13, 2011 in New York City. The HFMWeek U.S. Hedge Fund Services Awards is an annual program that recognizes hedge fund service providers that which are producing tangible benefits for their customers and can demonstrate revenue growth, innovation and customer satisfaction.
A panel of independent judges in the alternative investment management industry assessed nominations to determine eligibility and best performers in each category. SS&C was nominated in five categories: "Best Administrator — Reporting Services," "Best Administrator — Fund of Hedge Fund Provider Over $30bn," "Best Administrator — Managed Account Service Provider," "Best Fund Administrator — Over $30bn Client Service" and "Best Administrator — Technology Provider," the category that it won.

SS&C's success at the latest HFMWeek awards follows Global Custodian's recognition of "Top-Rated" status in six categories in its annual 2011 Hedge Fund Administration Survey: "Up to $100bn," "$100m-$1bn," "$1bn+, Single Strategy," "Multi-Strategy," "Fund of Funds" and "Multiple Provider." At June 30, 2011, SS&C's global fund administration business had $224 billion in assets under administration and approximately 500 staff to service the hedge fund, fund of funds, private equity and managed accounts industry. A full-service independent fund administrator, SS&C provides middle- and back-office services on its proprietary technology platform, among them net asset value computations, risk analytics, investor services and reporting and web services.
