Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today named Kevin Samuelson chief financial officer and Pam Murphy chief operating officer of the company, effective immediately. Samuelson replaces retiring CFO Raj Rajaji, who will remain with Infor for six months to ensure a smooth transition.
As lead for Inforâs acquisition and integration team, Samuelson has been instrumental in building Inforâs broad portfolio of best-in-class technology, helping Infor become a leading ERP provider. Samuelson has completed more than 40 strategic acquisitions since joining the company in 2002. He has also raised more than $5 billion in financing and helped Infor grow from $40 million to nearly $2 billion in annual revenue.
Before joining Infor, Samuelson held equity research positions at Robertson Stephens and Bank of America Securities. He earned his bachelorâs degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Murphy joined Infor in December 2010 as senior vice president of operations and has helped guide the company to three consecutive quarters of double-digit growth. As COO, in addition to her current responsibilities, Murphyâs role will be expanded to include human resources and legal functions. Previously, she spent 11 years at Oracle Corporation, where she was responsible for a wide range of operational and financial functions. Prior to joining Oracle, Murphy worked for Andersen Consulting and Arthur Andersen. She earned her business and accounting degree from the University of Cork, Ireland and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
âI am excited to promote two executives who have contributed greatly to Inforâs success and bring significant experience, great track records and a deep understanding of Infor and our industry to their new roles,â said Charles Phillips, CEO of Infor. âI also want to thank Raj for his four years of service and acknowledge the great work that he has done at Infor. We wish him all the best in a well-deserved retirement.â
