Dovetail makes key appointment to accelerate European expansion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) and Eastern Europe

London and New Jersey - 22 November 2011

Dovetail, the provider of next generation payment services hubs, today announces the appointment of Thomas Oppel as Director of Business Development – Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) and Eastern Europe. Based in Frankfurt, Thomas will be responsible for growing Dovetail’s client base in the region and satisfying demand for advanced payment services hub solutions, building on the success at Deutsche Bank and other European and North American transaction banks.

Thomas joins Dovetail with over 15 years’ experience and a great understanding of the sophisticated financial, banking and technology requirements of leading financial organisations in DACH and Eastern European. He brings extensive market expertise and regional knowledge having held senior roles at MarketAxess, Calypso Technology, Smart Stream Technology, Omgeo and Thomson Financial.
