BancTec Grows Remittance Processing Services with Expansion of its BPO Facility in Texas

Dallas, TX - 17 November 2011

The Center of Excellence in Dallas is being expanded to accommodate the growth of the company’s remittance processing business.

BancTec, a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) for financial transaction automation and document management, has announced the expansion of its Center of Excellence in Dallas to accommodate growth of the company’s BPO business.

The Dallas center that has provided accounts payable processing and document management services will now add remittance processing to its offerings. The Dallas operation will process both retail and wholesale lockbox services.

“The expansion of the Dallas Center of Excellence will significantly improve BancTec’s geographic footprint in the U.S. and increase its capacity in the wholesale and retail remittance space,” said Maria Allen, senior vice president and president of the Americas for BancTec. “The Dallas center will help us provide even better service and deliver the most efficient receipt and processing of payments.”

BancTec’s four major remittance processing centers are located in Dallas, Chicago, Charlotte and Phoenix, with three additional satellite facilities in Columbus, Ga., Philadelphia, and the New York metropolitan area.

For the Dallas expansion, BancTec expects to hire approximately 50 new employees and contractors.
