SunGard’s WealthStation Wins “XCelent” Awards in Celent’s Financial Planning Vendor Landscape Study

SunGard’s WealthStation has received the XCelent Technology and XCelent Functionality awards in Celent’s research report on The Financial Planning Vendor Landscape 2011. The report examines twelve leading vendors in the North American financial planning segment and provides detailed profiles of each vendor followed by comparisons and rankings.

The study uses the Celent ABCD Vendor View, which shows at a glance the relative position of vendors in the following categories: Advanced Technology, Breadth of Functionality, Customer Base (number of clients), and Depth of Client Services on two separate X/Y scales. Within the Breadth of Functionality category, SunGard was named as the most notable vendor and stood out from others due to its multiple planning levels, strong what-if scenario functionality, extensive list of modules (70), and financial planning concept. SunGard was also named a leading vendor in the Advanced Technology category.
