Chris Puype, co-founder and Managing Director for Asia, says: "We are very excited to be opening our third office in Asia Pacific as part of our continuous progression in the region, and particularly in Thailand. Thailand accounts for many large financial institutions, all of which have growing finance and risk requirements like IFRS and Basel II & III. With increasing requests from these financial institutions, and our success in Asia, it was imperative to establish an additional footprint here to better serve our customers. With demand for integrated finance and risk solutions on the rise we will continue with our expansion plans and believe we are well-positioned to achieve on our growth objectives for 2011."
We are also pleased to announce that the new office will be officially opened by Mrs. Anna Hajdu, Consul of the Embassy of Belgium in Bangkok on May 19, 2011. The official opening ceremony will be attended by all of our esteemed customers and strategic partners in the Asia Pacific region.
Over the coming months, the company plans to hire additional personnel for implementation and support of our flagship solution, Financial Studio. Our new office in Bangkok will also serve markets in South East Asia â a region in which FinArch has established solid partnerships with local leading SI companies.
"In 2009, FinArch established the Competence Center in Indonesia," says Chris Puype. "We are especially proud that we accomplished this expansion while other companies were experiencing financial difficulties during the recession. We attribute our success to the unmatched level of service and quality of deliverables that we at FinArch provide to our customers. We look forward to establishing new partnerships with new financial institutions as clients in Thailand, and helping them face the challenges of IFRS and capital and risk management with our world class leading integrated risk and finance platform."
