Comarch Field Service Management (FSM, fsm.comarch.com) enables scheduling, staffing, managing, and supporting workforce in the field. Efficiency is achieved by selecting the most suitable resources for each task as well as scheduling issues. A decision is made by taking into consideration modifiable and adjustable ratings, according to a company's unique business model. The solution provides field technicians with mobile access to all necessary information, which reduces the use of paper and enables to process up-sell and cross-sell orders directly at the customer's premises. Automation enables improvement of workforce performance e.g. for a dispatcher and optimizes schedules which results in a significant reduction in field staff mileage and drive time.
Comarch Field Service Management has already been implemented by a number of operators including WildBlue Communications - a satellite internet provider from the US, and many cable & multi service operators. In 2010, Comarch started the FSM project for Vectra, a Multi-Service Operator based in Poland.
The product has also been recognized in a recent Stratecast (Frost & Sullivan) Report "OSS/BSS Global Competitive Strategies" dedicated to Workforce Management (WFM) Strategies for Changing Markets and Challenging Economics. Comarch FSM was assessed as a solution that efficiently optimized skilled resources and schedules using modifiable and adjustable ratings based on appropriate business needs.
The fact that Comarch has already received the Golden Antenna four times in the category "Product of the Year" , proves that our strength lies in our product portfolio. I think this is a very significant differentiator of our competitive advantage on the telecom software market. Comarch FSM is an answer to a number of challenges operators are facing currently, as it not only reduces costs by automating field service tasks, but can also increase revenues by increasing the number of installations per day - says Piotr Piatosa, VP Telecommunications and Member of the Board, Comarch SA.
The "World of Telecommunications" magazine contest is an event which brings individuals and companies with achievements in the field of telecommunications into the spotlight.
