Callataÿ & Wouters supports international expansion through five new appointments across Europe and Asia

Callataÿ & Wouters, a leading provider of core banking and multi-channel distribution solutions, today announces the appointment of five new members of staff to support the company’s expanding international business and drive fresh opportunities across Europe and Asia.

The five new appointments include:

• Mohd Azhar Shahbudin, Business Development Manager, Malaysia
• Cedric De Grande, Marketing Manager, APAC and EMEA regions
• Tammo van Leeuwen, Market Development Manager, Central Europe
• Geert François, Key Account Manager, Belgium and Luxembourg
• Emma Connolly, Global Director of Strategic Marketing and Analyst Relations

Mohd Azhar Shahbudin joins Callataÿ & Wouters from a background of IT systems integration and implementation to drive forward the company’s expansion into Asia, providing on-the-ground support in Malaysia. Cedric De Grande joins from BNPParibas Fortis and will be responsible for accelerating growth across both the EMEA and APAC regions.

Tammo van Leeuwen has been appointed to oversee the company’s expansion and development across Central Europe, starting with Poland and then Romania. In Belgium and Luxembourg, Geert François will be responsible for enhancing the company’s strategic partnerships in these key counties.

Based in Brussels, Emma Connolly joins Callataÿ & Wouters as Global Director of Strategic Marketing and Analyst Relations. Emma will be responsible for increasing the international
visibility of Callataÿ & Wouters, promoting the corporate brand and maintaining the excellent reputation that the company has earned over the years.

Together, all the appointees represent years of in-depth banking and software expertise with previous employers including; BNPParibas, Dexia, ABN AMRO, Delta Lloyd Bank, ING, BNP Paribas Fortis, ZKB and RaboBank.
