BancTec, a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) for financial transaction automation and document management, has announced the expansion of its BPO facility in India. The expansion of the centre in Noida, New Delhi, strengthens BancTecâs global network of 19 Centres of Excellence across Europe, APAC and the Americas.

With increased support, BancTec can deliver a more comprehensive range of scalable services using a mix of on-shore, near-shore and offshore locations to meet the price and performance requirements of clients. BancTecâs IT teams in India support BancTecâs product development and professional services groups. BPO services include payment processing, document imaging, data capture, invoicing processing, correspondence management, archive and SaaS hosting.
The Indian operation is a wholly owned BancTec subsidiary, which provides higher levels of control and consistency over the outsourcing process. BancTec India operates to the same standards as BancTecâs North American and European teams to satisfy all compliance and security requirements relating to the processing of confidential data. The expanded facility provides best-in-class continuity services as well as a partner site in Chennai for disaster recovery.
BancTec expects to employ more than 200 people at its newly expanded Indian Centre of Excellence by the end of 2011.
