Home Retail Group announced as first customer to take Intelligent Environments’ Customer Offers

Digital Banking provider Intelligent Environments (IE), part of the Parseq group, is pleased to announce Home Retail Group Financial Services, the financial function of the Argos and Homebase owned leading general merchandise retailer, as the first adopter of its new NetFinance marketing offers module. This new product functionality has been developed in direct response to IE’s clients’ need to drive increasing revenue through their online channels for both financial and non-financial products. At the same time it will provide a better customer experience based on more relevant, timely and personalised promotions, messages and account information.

Home Retail Group Financial Services has taken delivery of IE’s Customer Offers module as the latest component to add to their Argos and Homebase cards service. IE, have already been working with HRG for 2 years, providing a comprehensive secure online card account servicing solution for both the Argos and Homebase store cards. Launched under the name ‘My Extras’, Home Retail Group Financial Services will be adding specific and personalised messages to customers, covering both Financial Services and Retail offers for both Argos and Homebase businesses. My Extras will be displayed as soon as a user logs in to service their account, before the account summary page, with messages to each customer personalised based on their past behaviours and trends. Customers can take advantage of the special offer by printing off vouchers and redeeming them in store at point of sale and by marking the messages as mandatory, where cardholders must check a box before they can progress to their account summary, Home Retail Group Financial Services will also be able to track them.
