Kapronasia launches research advisory service covering trade, cash and payments in China

Amsterdam - 28 October 2010

Kapronasia, a financial industry research and advisory firm based in Shanghai, today announced the launch of their Greater China Financial Industry Advisory Service covering a number of key topics in the Chinese financial services industry including trade, cash and payments. The research service is one of the first of its kind on the market and is designed to give financial institutions and technology companies greater insight into one of the fastest moving markets in the world.

Kapronasia has already been providing customized research and consulting service on the Asian financial services industry for a number of years, but the new advisory service was created as a result of conversations with their clients as well as industry participants who were looking for more regular insight into the market.

“It is clear from talking to delegates here at Sibos in Amsterdam that trade, cash and payments are a key part of the industry’s recovery and an important part of that story is China,” said Zennon Kapron, Managing Director and Founder of Kapronasia. “However, it can often be difficult for companies to get regular, accurate and timely insight into what is happening on-the-ground. Our new research advisory service is designed to fill that gap and give firms the insight they need to make better business and technology decisions in the Greater China market.”

The new advisory service is also unique in its strictly Greater China financial industry focus and ‘on-the-ground’ market insight. Elsa Yan, a senior consultant at Kapronasia, commented: “Being one of the few mainland-based research and advisory firms solely focused on the Greater China financial industry clearly has its advantages. Our team has direct access to the people, companies and regulators that are moving the market which allows us to provide an unsurpassed level of actionable insight into one of the most dynamic financial industries in the world.”

In addition to trade and payments, the service will cover key industry sub-segments including retail banking, capital markets and commercial banking and is designed to give subscribers a clearer picture of the trends, regulations, customer needs and technologies that are shaping the market. Executives from both financial institutions and technology vendors are expected to benefit greatly from the service.

The service is available today and more information can be found on the Kapronasia website or by contacting Kapronasia directly.
