Insight allows asset managers to take complete control of the order management process, while providing seamless operational workflow and custom reporting capabilities. Emergent is one of many new and existing clients to sign up to and trial Insight 4.0âs enhanced functionality.
Insight will initially be used for Emergentâs FX managed funds but, as the solution supports more than 140 asset classes and has been built with scalability in mind, it can be rolled out to other funds that Emergent manages and administers, an important feature given Emergentâs recent growth and ambitions to continue this expansion.
Kevin Nealis, COO of Emergent said, âEmergent is committed to implementing cutting edge technologies in its operations. We recognised that we had reached a point where an automated system would improve decision making and operational efficiencies through real time performance data and integrated workflows. The partnership with Tradar will provide us with a seamless trade capture and reconciliation tool.â
Emergentâs front office traders will now benefit from the live P&L delivered by Insight, helping to underpin their investment decisions. In the middle office, the focus will be on P&L reporting, and the integration with the downstream processes.
Nealis continued, âTradarâs reputation in the market as a long-established, well-designed solution was an obvious attraction, but what really drove our decision was its intuitive user-interface which all users have taken to immediately. But this was not only an operation decision; this was a real strategic move for us as we prepare to launch new funds. We will be working closely with Tradar in the future to further enhance our pre-trade compliance and order management processes.â
Gerry Gualtieri, CEO of Tradar, added, âOur dedicated research and development team has worked hard to ensure Insight delivers what clients really need in todayâs markets. It is exciting to work with companies like Emergent as they are using our system to a really high level and challenging it at every turn. This helps us drive innovation which is beneficial to the wider user community. This implementation of Insight also demonstrates its strong interoperability, which is such a valuable feature for so many of our clients. We look forward to building a long, collaborative relationship with Emergent and supporting its business as it grows further.â
Tradar has added an impressive 39 clients to its valued customer base in the last nine months. In this period, Tradar has won business across its key regions of Europe, the US and Asia. The notable growth has been seen across its diverse user community, which ranges from niche hedge fund start-ups to ETFs and larger pension fund managers.
