The entry, in collaboration with Kent Reliance Building Society (KRBS), describes the successful implementation of AWD, its Business Process Management application, in the building society. KRBS uses the application to manage its business processes across its offices around the world.
The daily post is scanned and imaged at KRBSâ offices in Kent and is then automatically prioritised and routed to KRBSâ processing operations in Bangalore and Pune in India. The majority of the routine work is then completed off-shore, but quality review and exception processing is performed in the UK, using the prioritisation and work delivery capability of the AWD application.
Since the implementation of AWD, the management costs for processing mortgage applications at KRBS have dropped from the second highest in the industry at Â£1.42, down to the second lowest in the industry at Â£0.39, an improvement of 69%.
