The new agreement enables Oppenheimer's institutional and branch clients to receive and vote proxy notifications for international securities through Broadridge's web-based ProxyEdgeÂ® service. The service includes a fully-automated, multi-language electronic solution supporting straight-through processing from account collection and agenda distribution through vote processing.
Broadridge has witnessed an increased requirement from U.S.-based brokers seeking to service the growing proportion of cross-border assets in their clients' investment portfolios which, in turn, has led to the expansion of Broadridge's Global Proxy services in the U.S. brokerage sector.
