IPC Systems, Inc., a leading provider of indispensable trading communications solutions to the world’s top financial services firms and global enterprises, today announced the launch of its new One Management System, a secure web-based tool, for managing system information and providing increased visibility into a user’s accounts. IPC’s One Management System, part of its Alliance version 16 upgrade, features enhanced security based on a hardened Just Enough Operating System (JeOS) platform and a highly secure authorisation and authentication process meeting the most stringent security requirements.

The One Management System serves as a secure portal for administrators and system technicians for system management and configuration of the Alliance trading communications platform. The new system also creates enhanced visibility by facilitating access to detailed reports and administrator-generated alarms on specific activities.

With improved speed and adaptability, One Management System allows traders, administrators and technicians to achieve faster system load times, allowing for enhanced productivity and resiliency. Built on IPC’s innovative Alliance platform, the new One Management System allows for lower operating expenses by integrating disparate software and hardware elements providing a solution that administrators can leverage for secure insight into their accounts and transactions.

“We are continually listening to our customers to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the latest technological innovations, therefore, maximising our customers’ productivity, security and return on investment,” said Jonathan Morton, vice president, Product Management, IPC Systems. “One Management System creates hardware independence, tightened security, database integrity checking and minimizes conflicts between software applications. IPC’s One Management System now serves as the core management interface for IPC’s suite of products, including IQ/MAX turrets and MAXaccess 1000, Nexus Suite, Enterprise IPVR, the Alliance switch and its integration with Enhanced Voice Services (EVS). These solutions provide a cost effective, converged and streamlined means to meet the trading communication requirements of the world’s largest firms.

IPC’s award-winning flagship turret, the IQ/MAX, brings together intuitive design and the latest in Voice over IP (VoIP) technology to deliver maximum clarity, speed, control and power to a trader’s fingertips. A web-based solution facilitating anytime, anywhere trading, MAXaccess 1000 translates the essential functionality of the IQ/MAX trading turret to any desktop PC with broadband access by replicating the key components of a trading turret on a computer screen. Furthermore, IPC’s Nexus Suite provides an open, flexible, end-to-end communications platform for the trading floor that unifies communications technology in real time.
