The new manager, who has 23 years experience working as an investment banker, will be working with Bruce Urbanek, a financial technology expert previously employed by both Citigroup and Goldman Sachs.
Previously, Mr Hyer Jr worked on setting up Citigroupâs global electronic services group, which provided expert advice to the likes of NYCE, E*Trade and Fiserv.

The new postholder also worked as a managing director at Greenhill & Co and was responsible for managing the companyâs $27 billion acquisition of First Data.
He also worked on a $5.2 billion sale to TH Lee and collaborated with Ceridian in a proxy defence.
