This functionality, offered via Allegroâs Exchange Connect component, provides customers the ability to capture trades seamlessly across multiple commodities, markets and exchanges. Allegro will interface with Trayportâs GlobalVision Trading Gateway platform, which facilitates trade execution on electronic exchanges, including Imarex, Nordpool, OMIP, ICE, EEX, and APX-Endex, as well as OTC brokered transactions via ICAP, Spectron, Tullet Prebon, GFI, TFS, Evolution, Cantor, SSY, and MF Global. Trayport trades and all associated details will be immediately captured by Allegroâs Trade Execution process and made available for position management and valuation.
âWe are pleased that Allegro has identified Trayportâs GlobalVision Trading Gateway as the leading provider of consolidated real-time trade data for European Exchange and Broker Markets. Trayport believes incorporating real-time trade information within a risk management system is vital and the API connection between Trading Gateway and Allegro provided via Exchange Connect will therefore be an enormous benefit to energy traders,â said James Davies, Head of Trader Systems Business, Trayport.
âBy seamlessly integrating multiple exchanges and transactions into one platform, Allegroâs European customers will obtain key benefits,â states Claire Almond, Allegroâs Alliances Manager for EMEA. âThis offering is significant in the ETRM vendor space and will provide the ability to instantaneously access and leverage Europeâs most critical exchange data and capture OTC transactions.â
