According to the financial services provider, the new technology offers investors access to real-time execution monitoring as well as online session sharing.
The product is based on its Portfolio WebBench technology, an analytics toolkit used in conjunction with investment portfolios focussing on global equities.
BarCap explained that the real-time application can be used to access online analytical reports of trading performances as well as sharing monitoring sessions via web links.
Brian Pomraning, head of Equity Analytics Applications, said: âWe believe that Portfolio WebBench Live is a truly unique product, offering clients a web-based tool for real-time execution analysis of their trading.
âIn dynamic markets, execution performance and cost are increasingly important considerations; Portfolio WebBench Live can enhance trading transparency for clients, giving them insights that will allow them to optimize their execution, and pinpoint and react to risk as their transactions unfold.â
Earlier in the month, BarCap announced the appointment of two new financial experts.
Antonio Garcia Pascual was hired as chief southern European economist while Michael Gapen was employed as senior US economist.
