SunGard Extends Asset Arena Offering to Provide Risk Management and Consulting Services

SunGard has extended Asset Arena, its solution suite for asset managers, asset servicers and third party administrators, to provide new risk reporting (Asset Arena Risk) and consulting services (Asset Arena Consulting). The new offerings will help Asset Arena customers monitor and manage investment risks more effectively, and help them achieve greater transparency and efficiency in their operations.

Asset Arena Risk leverages SunGard’s APT buy-side risk analytics solution. With the integration of APT into the Asset Arena suite, customers will now be able to request risk reports directly from the fund accounting system and obtain risk reports using live data, including simulated positions. In addition, Asset Arena customers using the APT Pro portfolio construction tool will also be able to export their portfolios using the tool and perform optimization analysis on them.

Asset Arena Consulting offers a set of specialized consulting services in two distinct key service areas or practices: Solution Consulting and Product Consulting. Both address individual and unique customer needs and are solely focused on the asset management space. Solution Consulting is a set of customized services dedicated to resolving specific customer business problems. It helps customers consolidate systems, improve business processes, develop custom product extensions, introduce strategic data extraction and reporting solutions, and more. Product Consulting is a set of services designed to help customers optimize their implementation and ongoing use of the Asset Arena solution suite. It is designed to help with areas such as system configuration, performance optimization, fund conversions and product upgrades.
