This builds upon BT and Avayaâs long-standing 10-year relationship which was recently cemented by BT signing up to the new Avaya Connect channel programme.
Neil Sutton, Vice President Global Portfolio, BT Global Services, said: âThis extended partnership with Avaya not only enables us to significantly increase our Avaya contact centre and unified communications (UC) support capability in all key global markets but importantly with the Avaya Connect accreditation we are ensuring we are continually improving the service and delivery we provide to our customers. This means that our multi national customers with contact centres and operations around the globe can come to BT for one end to end Avaya based solution. This will remove the complexity and improve speed to market for contact centre and UC solutions. BT Global Services is now one of the few organisations that can deliver this around the world.â
Mark Mitchell, Head of Service Providers, Avaya EMEA, said: âChoosing Avaya Aura solutions and signing up to the new Avaya Connect programme is a winning combination for BT. Not only will the company be able to deliver a richer suite of communications capabilities to its customers much faster and easier than before, the accreditation programme will really help them engage with their customers, providing better choices to move their businesses forward.â
BTâs Avaya Aura solutions programme will be available from March 2010 when existing and new customers will be able to benefit from the optimised capital investment that this programme will bring. The Avaya Connect accreditation programme will be globally operational on February 1, 2010 and will allow existing partners to transition into the new programme during the course of the year.
