The porting performed by DataArt further extends the compatibility of Navmii to include the range of latest Nokia smart phones from E-series and N-series, which are based on Symbian S60 3rd edition platform. "We required a software partner who had the skills and expertise in delivering technically challenging software projects in extremely short timeframes and without compromising final product quality,â said Matt Thornhill, Chief Operating Officer of Geolife Limited. âDataArt's highly skilled team delivered on all fronts.â
âDataArt has been steadily harnessing its expertise in mobile solutions,â said Eugene Goland, President of DataArt, âand weâre thrilled to be working with GeoLife, one of the most innovative mobile companies in the UK.â
Navmii is the latest navigation software on the market for mobile phones with free location based services (LBS). The most popular services include GeoFriend, for instantly locating and navigating to a friend with one click; GeoFamily, a secure version of GeoFriend, enabling real-time tracking of family members; and GeoPet, a tracking and locating tool for pets.
âWe were so impressed with DataArt's creativity, professionalism and technical know-how, that we have already engaged them to start work on our next project, porting Navmii to the Apple iPhone," added Thornhill.
