Atrium Network celebrates its Third Anniversary

London - 31 July 2009

Atrium Network, provider of smarter connectivity for the financial community, today marked its third anniversary of delivering industry connectivity via its extranet services (a single point of contact to exchanges, MTFs, clearing houses, CSDs and market data providers), dealer desk trading technology and corporate technology (internet and intranet solutions).

Since launching in 2006, Atrium Network has continued to focus on delivering its low latency products whilst expanding its connectivity footprint into Europe. Throughout 2007, Atrium Network continued its steady growth in Europe and began to offer fixed line access. 2008 saw further expansion into Europe and North America. In 2009, Atrium Network has expanded further in Europe, North and South America, and launched its ‘Exchange Ring’. Exchange Ring offers an interconnectivity fabric designed to mitigate the risk of any unnecessary co-location investment and ensuring lowest possible latency access to all available trading venues. In July 2009, Atrium Network announced enhanced connectivity via its latest POP (point of presence) in Luxembourg; in addition to its existing POPS in Amsterdam, Brussels, Chicago, Frankfurt, Geneva, Lisbon, London, Madrid, New York, Paris and Sao Paulo.

Commenting on the milestone, Emmanuel Carjat, Chief Executive Officer of Atrium Network said “Three years from launch, I am delighted to report that we are on plan in terms of growing our community, through continued investment and global expansion. Critical to our success to date has been our innovation in helping our clients connect with the ever evolving infrastructure to enable them to take advantage of the global trading opportunities on offer. We are well positioned to continue to anticipate and address market and customer developments and look forward to further expansion of our customer base, geographical coverage and product offerings. “
