With the new API, clients can automatically extract data and statistical functions from the PerTrac Analytical Platform into other applications or systems that they use, saving time, automating their workflow, and thereby reducing cost and operational risk. Similarly, results collected or calculated in other systems, including third-party applications, can be pushed back into the PerTrac system for storage, display, analysis or reporting, thereby making it even easier to use the PerTrac Analytical Platform as a central information hub in their investment management or investor relations process.
The PerTrac API Toolkit can be used to create applications that link the PerTrac Analytical Platform to other client databases, which can in turn be integrated with other data sources and applications. The Toolkit contains sample programs and data extraction tools to help users get up-and-running almost immediately.

With this release, the PerTrac Analytical Platform is now a full-fledged enterprise application.â
In addition to its end-user benefits, the PerTrac API Toolkit will be made available to PerTrac Certified Partners (PTCP) to develop interfaces between their applications and the PerTrac Analytical Platform. FinAnalytica, makers of Cognity, a leading risk management software tool, will be among the first PTCPâs to utilize the API Toolkit.

â¢ Full access to PerTrac data, including 600 text fields, 1400 checkboxes, dates, historical returns, NAVs, and fund sizes from all available data sources.
â¢ Data export, for moving data from PerTrac databases into other databases, or xml or flat files, where it can be combined with data from other sources. Use data wherever you want: internal reporting systems, custom web portals, and more.
â¢ Data import, for creating new records or updating existing records in PerTrac databases using data pulled from accounting, CRM, portfolio management, and other internal systems.
â¢ The Common Fields feature, which simplifies accessing the same information from different data vendors in PerTrac databases.
â¢ PerTrac ID functionality, for grouping duplicate fund records in PerTrac databases, then exporting records from your preferred sources to create a custom de-duplicated database. This allows the creation of composite records, using data from the different data sources to which a client subscribes.
