Gmarkets Appoints John Robinson as Director of Sales and Business Development

Gmarkets’ President and Chief Executive Officer Robin Hanlon today announced the appointment of John Robinson as Director, Sales and Business Development for the United States, based in New York City.

Mr. Robinson is responsible for client development, product development, and strategy for Gmarkets’ U.S. expansion. Mr. Robinson joins Gmarkets after 18+ years in the market data industry including roles at ActivFinancial, Sector (SIAC), Tullett Prebon, and Moneyline Telerate, and an additional 5 years in fixed income and bond sales.

"John, through his experience in the market data industry, has numerous contacts and strong, longstanding relationships within the community which will enable Gmarkets to further strengthen our offering and expand our content set to better serve the U.S. markets,” said Ms. Hanlon. “His introduction of Gmarkets to the U.S. marketplace has been well received and is garnering very strong interest.”
