The Forbis Company and the oldest Lithuanian commercial bank ten years together

This year the Forbis Company and the oldest Lithuanian commercial “Ūkio bankas” bank, celebrating its 20th anniversary, are commemorating ten years’ partnership. During the meeting the heads of the enterprises have discussed the results of the cooperative work and future expectations.

“We are glad and proud of the years passed together. We believe that qualification, experience, and knowledge of our specialists helped the bank to improve customer servicing, to create new banking products, and to ensure secure and reliable operation of the entire banking information system. We sincerely hope that our cooperation will continue, and we wish the bank, celebrating its 20th anniversary, to maintain stability, to be successful, and to keep prospering,” said CEO of the Forbis Company Andrej Zujev.

When being asked to comment on the cooperation of the Forbis Company and JSC “Ūkio bankas”, the head of the department of banking information technologies and the deputy of the service chief of the bank Valdas Bartkus noted that modern technologies of the FORPOST system enabled the bank to ensure efficient service management, to centralize storing of the information, and to expand the range of the services provided to customers.

According to JSC “Ūkio bankas”, the most successful projects include implementation of payment cards accountancy and authorisation from the FORPOST system, implementation of interfaces with the Lithuanian bank’s LITAS settlements system, and implementation of the international settlements system. One of the most evaluated constituent parts of FORPOST, to the opinion of the “Ūkio bankas” bank’s specialists, is the subsystem of mail messages, which enables to flexibly and efficiently adapt the system to the constantly altering bank’s requirements. Due to the FORPOST system’s convenience and flexibility, the bank specialists may perform it without any assistance from the implementers’ side.

“I think that this successful cooperation will maintain its dynamics in future, and that the FORPOST system will provide even more innovative possibilities, which will enable to further expand the range of the provided services, and to improve the quality of customer servicing. In its turn, the bank will further provide its offers and requests striving to improve the system”, said Valdas Bartkus.
