As an advocate of Competitive Clearing, SIX x-clear hereby takes a further important step towards pan- European interoperability between CCPs. Freedom of choice and efficiency in the interest of the client are essential prerequisites for creating more competition in securities trading. Alongside the existing clearing services provided to the London Stock Exchange (LSE), Nyfix Euromillenium and SIX Swiss Exchange, SIX x-clear is set to implement a series of new links for the most prominent multilateral trading systems and regulated exchanges. These include Chi-X, BATS, Nasdaq Europe, Liquidnet, Turquoise, Equiduct and Secfinex.
