"We are honoured that our corporate actions and reference data, as well as our low-latency data feed have been recognised by the Systems in the City Awards as best in category. We also received the 'Best Corporate Actions Data Provider' award at the Inside Market Data/Inside Reference Data Awards in 2008,â said Brendan Beith, European sales director at Interactive Data. âInteractive Data has built its reputation as a trusted leader in financial information. At this time of increased market volatility, we aim to work with our customers to help address their needs for financial data and services across their businesses.â
The Systems in the City Awards are organised annually by Goodacre UK, a leading provider of specialist support services for the securities and financial markets. The awards aim to highlight the excellence of system suppliers within the financial services industry in the UK. Nominations for the awards were made by participants in the stockbroking, fund management and investment banking sector. The winners of each award were announced at an awards ceremony held on 22 April in London.
