âDespite the challenging economic climate Digiterre continues to see exceptional growth in both our dCRM relationship management product business and in our custom software business,â says Ian Murrin, Founder and CEO of Digiterre. âWe have seen a 50 per cent increase in Q1 2009 year-on-year revenues and an 8.9% increase in Q1 2009 sales versus Q4 2008.â
This growth is attributable to the combination of the seven new dCRM clients acquired during Quarter 1 2009 and to the custom software development partnerships that Digiterre has established with many of its clients over the past year, which continue to grow in scope and scale.
âA key offering of our Custom Software business is to provide an outsourced software development capability covering front, middle office and connectivity solutions where we take full ownership of the complete development life-cycle,â says Murrin. âThis is of great appeal to clients with a limited technology resource in-house.â
This is in contrast to Digiterreâs larger investment management clients which typically have significant in-house capabilities but may look to expand their delivery capacity without increasing their fixed costs.
âIn these situations Digiterre either forms part of a multi-disciplined team alongside their in-house resources or takes responsibility for delivery of discrete streams of work,â says Murrin.
Due to the continued volume of work, Digiterre has also increased its team significantly with new hires in the areas of software development, client services, project management and business development.
âAs our business continues to grow we have brought in additional resources to both our dCRM product business and our custom software business,â says Murrin. âProviding innovative solutions and the best possible service to our clients will always be our top priority and we are delighted to have expanded the team with high calibre individuals who have exceeded our expectations.â
