DST International (DSTi) has today announced the appointment of Ms Zeina El Jamil as Training Consultant for its Australian operations. Ms El Jamil, who has a strong background in financial services, will be responsible for both internal and external training solutions for DSTi staff and clients. Internal training programs will focus on increasing competency levels within the 200-strong local team, as well as managing the company’s Graduate Trainee program. As a key member of the client services team, Ms El Jamil’s external charter will include the development and rollout of enhanced training solutions to DSTi’s clients to facilitate the best use of its solutions.

According to Ian Mathieson, CEO for DSTi in Australia and New Zealand, Ms El Jamil’s appointment will contribute to increased competency levels within his own team and throughout the wide client base. “Zeina is very highly regarded within the investment marketplace and joins us with 11 years’ specialist experience in the custody and investment management sector.”

“Zeina has already identified areas of focus for internal improvements and has put together our enhanced external training solution program for clients. Her appointment will improve the competency levels of our staff and clients and will contribute to improving the use of DSTi business solutions,” he outlined.

Ms El Jamil joins DSTi from her most recent role as Technical Training Manager for BNP Paribas. Prior to this she has held a variety of management roles in fund administration and technical training in organisations including State Street and Commonwealth Bank.

Ms El Jamil will be based in Sydney and will report to Brian Hamilton, Business Solutions Manager.
