Patrik Neutjens, head of partner management, SWIFT, said, âCheckFree proves itself year in, year out as a market leader by rapidly complying with the stringent criteria set out by SWIFT. The company has worked hard to develop long-standing relationships with its customers and SWIFT to meet the demands of the industry. The accreditation of CheckFree eVent and CheckFree TradeFlow, underpinned by its own core financial messaging technology, highlights CheckFreeâs ongoing commitment to helping customers reduce risk and increase operational inefficiencies throughout their operations.â
CheckFree TradeFlow received the accreditation for financial Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) using its CheckFree Financial Messaging⢠solution and its ability to connect to multiple message protocols and standards, including SWIFTNet Funds, SWIFT FpML, ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 respectively. CheckFree Financial Messaging utilizes core integration and rules processing to allow organizations to connect multiple systems seamlessly. CheckFree TradeFlow is designed to enable organizations to efficiently manage their entire post-trade process from trade capture to settlement.
CheckFree eVent was tested by SWIFTâs Simulation Testing and Qualification Service (STaQs), to ensure the validation of messaging outputs, such as ISO 15022 MT 564 and MT 566 FIN messages, against the Event Interpretation Grid and D versus E market practice rules, which have been newly defined by the Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG) guidelines.
CheckFree eVent additionally met the requirement to seamlessly interface to an EAI tool using its own CheckFree Financial Messaging solution. CheckFree eVent is a modular, workflow-driven solution that enables custodians, broker/dealers, investment firms, fund managers and third-party administrators to minimize corporate actions processing risk. The real-time solution processes complex corporate actions across multiple markets and is fully compatible with SMPG guidelines and a wide range of industry message formats, including ISO 15022.
Geoff Harries, vice president, product strategy, CheckFree Investment Services Software, now part of Fiserv, said, âCheckFree has once again gained the SWIFT seal of approval, demonstrating its commitment to delivering advanced flexible technology to its customers by ensuring CheckFree solutions adhere to the highest standards set by the industry. We are delighted to receive this recognition as CheckFree is committed to investing and developing its solutions to meet changing customer needs and regulatory requirements.â
