3 November 2008

Datanomic, today announced that its dn:Director product has successfully completed interoperability testing with IBM’s System Storage DS4800 and DS8300 storage platforms and has been confirmed as IBM System Storage Proven. The IBM System Storage Proven program builds on IBM’s already extensive interoperability efforts to develop and deliver products and solutions that work together with third party products.

“Being officially recognised by IBM is a huge endorsement for Datanomic,” said Dr Jonathan Pell, CEO, Datanomic Ltd. “Together we can truly offer exceptional screening capabilities, offering unrivalled accuracy, usability and performance in line with IBM’s technical expertise, global reach and brand recognition. This relationship will allow us to make our solutions more readily available to VARs and Systems Integrators in the IBM network, enabling us to expand into new markets.”

Datanomic’s deeply accurate data screening rules provide the industry’s most advanced analysis/matching algorithms for screening against both commercial and regulatory/Government watch lists, sanctions lists and PEP databases. dn:Director is used today by many leading financial institutions to deliver highly intelligent AML/Compliance Screening systems that reduce manual or semi-automated matching, freeing Compliance teams for higher value analysis and investigation.

The IBM System Storage Proven program supports the ability of independent hardware and software vendors to build high-quality solutions with the latest technology on leading storage platforms as well as reduce solution design time when multiple, tested building blocks have already been pre-tested.
