Change of leadership under the mark of Internationalisation

20 November 2008

After three successful years, Claudia Bohnet will leave Avaloq on December 19, 2008, to move to a large international financial services company, where she will have an executive role. Under her leadership, a total of ten banks switched to the Avaloq Banking System. “We appreciate Claudia Bohnet’s work for the company. Now, the production unit is increasingly facing the particular challenges of internationalisation, which makes Klaus Rausch the ideal successor,” says Francisco Fernandez, CEO of Avaloq Evolution AG. “Crucial to his selection was his profound knowledge of the banking sector. Thanks to this know-how as well as his experience in IT, he will carry out the job very effectively.”

Most recently, Klaus Rausch was the chairman of HypoVereinsbank Information Services, a subsidiary of the HypoVereinsbank. The company, which has 1300 employees, is responsible for the entire application landscape of the HypoVereinsbank. Previously, among other positions, Klaus Rausch was the CIO of the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and the director of application development at Fiducia AG, a subsidiary of the Bavarian cooperative banks.

The Executive Board of Avaloq Evolution AG will now consist of the following people: Francisco Fernandez (CEO), general management, Peter Schöpfer (CMO), Director of Marketing & Sales, Adrian Bult (COO), Director of Services, Enrico Ardielli (CFO), Director of Corporate, Ronald Strässler (CST), Director of Special Tasks, and Klaus Rausch (CTO), Director of Production.
