New Appointments at the SIA-SSB Group

New appointments at SIA-SSB Group, European leader in the Information & Communication Technology sector providing services and
solutions to the international financial community. Gian Bruno Mazzi, currently Managing Director of SIA-SSB, has also taken on the
office of Chief Executive Officer at Kedrios, the Group company specializing in back office, administrative outsourcing, reporting and software development services for the financial sector.

Armando Bolzoni has been appointed Director of the Capital Markets Business Unit that provides integrated technology solutions to Central Institutions and Intermediaries along the entire value chain (access to telematic markets, trading, operational supervision on financial marketplaces and settlement) according to the new European market directives.

Fabrizio Canedoli, Director of Group Strategy and Development at SIA-SSB, has also been appointed Chief Executive Officer of GBC, the Hungarian subsidiary specializing in card processing and ATM/POS terminal management.

The new appointments are part of the reorganization phase dealing with roles and responsibilities within the Group structure.
Gian Bruno Mazzi, a graduate in Political Science from Bologna University, adds the role of CEO of Kedrios to that of Managing Director of SIA-SSB which he took on in May 2007. After beginning his career at SIP, the Italian telecom company, from 1980 to 1996
Mazzi worked in the Finance and Banks Division of Andersen Consulting, where he became Partner in 1989. Among other responsibilities, he was Head of the Bologna Office and in charge of the Offering for Banks in Italy. In 1996 he joined Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna where as Central Director he was responsible for the Resources Area. Later he became Chief Executive Officer of Caer Servizi, part of the Caer Banking Group, born out of the merger between Carisbo and Banca Popolare dell'Adriatico. After heading Organization, Information Systems and Back-office Shared Services at Cardine Banca, he joined SSB where he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2003.

Gian Bruno Mazzi also holds important positions at other companies controlled by SIA-SSB: he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hungarian subsidiary GBC and Vice President of SiNSYS and TSP.

Armando Bolzoni takes on the new position of Director of the Capital Markets Business Unit at SIA-SSB, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Bolzoni began his professional career in 1980 as an analyst-programmer in the field of applications for human resources management. He then turned to consultancy in the area of financial applications at Cedborsa where, in the Clearing and Settlement applications division, he became first Head of Customer Care and later of the Development Area.
In 1999, following the merger between SIA (Società Interbancaria per l’Automazione) and Cedborsa, Bolzoni took on the role of Head of the Development Area and Service Support Settlement.

As of July 2002, he has been Director of Settlement and Payments and since 2006 he has also been Head of Service Support Settlement & Market. In addition to the office of Director of Group Strategy and Development, Fabrizio Canedoli, a graduate in Political Science from Milan University with a major in Finance, Control and General Management, has been appointed Chief Executive
Press Release Officer of GBC (GIRO Bankkàrtya ZRt), the Group company based in Budapest. Canedoli can count on over thirty years’ experience in the IT sector where he has managed medium and large-scale organizations, including the Italian branch of
C-Bridge Internet Solutions, a second generation web agency founded in Boston by professors from MIT and Harvard Business School.
Following his appointment in 1985 as Country Manager of Business Development - Banking & Finance Area at General Electric Information Services, in 1989 Canedoli became Sales Director North Area at Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young)
Management Consulting. Later he took on the role of General Director of Synon Italia, a joint venture between Synon Corp and EDS. In 1995, Canedoli was appointed CEO of Texas Instruments Software, remaining in this position also following its takeover by Sterling Software. Canedoli has been Market Director of SSB (Società per i Servizi Bancari) since
November 2001 and Chairman of Invoicing as of 2004.
