The specialists of the Forbis Company have developed a new release 4.4.2 of the FORPOST banking information system, which will provide even more opportunities in automating banks’ activity.

A new BIS FORPOST release was created considering clients’ requirements in Lithuania, and paying much attention to the improvement of the system’s adaptation to the Russian and Belarusian markets with these countries’ banking business requirements and targets.

In FORPOST release 4.4.2 a special attention was paid to creation and development of retail and corporate banking products, there were performed changes in the system kernel, several subsystems and products ensuring electronic management of deposits, securities, Forex deals, Internet banking and other services.

Banks’ means of work with third parties were improved: there were implemented changes of registration form, additional conditions of third parties.

Management of customers’ commission payments accounting was improved.

There also was implemented a new model of bank customers direct debit agreements servicing, when a service provider acts via an intermediary.

A new model of electronic management of deposit accounting was implemented.

The product of safe rent was adapted on the Russian market.

New deals of treasury financial instruments, such as NDO (Non-Deliverable Option) and NDF (Non-Deliverable Forward), as well as solutions of electronic management were implemented; there was designed a possibility to assign one bank the codes of the same type (e.g., SWIFT); the technologies, which allow to import deal tickets from the Reuters Dealing system, were created, as well as technologies, which are designed for transferring of Forex data (e.g., servicing agreements, deals, initial payment documents etc.) into external systems; formation of TELEX messages was implemented.

The security of Internet banking operations was enhanced: a new means of connection and transaction signing was implemented.

A new release presents new possibilities of document payment control for the Russian banks regarding 302P requirements; card-file document management was improved for the Belarusian banks.

With the use of advanced technologies there were created requests, designed for the work with the table of document rights and the table of persons’ documents relations.

The novelties of the release also enable to quicken banks end-of-day processes and to use bank’s technical possibilities more efficiently.
