Transcontinental Chooses BWise Process-based GRC Platform

10 November 2008

BWise, the global leader in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management software,
announced today that BWise has been chosen as the GRC software solution for Transcontinental, the largest printer in Canada and
sixth largest printer in North America. Transcontinental chose BWise to assist the organization with their National Instrument 52-109
(Bill 198) compliance and Risk Assessments.

Transcontinental was looking for a GRC solution that could not only meet their Bill 198 compliance needs, but also their risk
assessments and surveying needs. Transcontinental was only interested in vendors that can provide a multi-language GRC system
with a proven track record in integrating several national and international compliance mandates. Through demonstrations, as a part
of the selection process, BWise was able to prove that they can serve Transcontinental in all of these areas thanks to a process based
approach.

With BWise software, Transcontinental will be able to fully test and assess their risks. Personnel can be assigned ownership of
particular risks and given responsibility for testing and the assessment of that risk. In fact, surveys and assessments are integrated
into the company’s risk and control framework, providing all relevant GRC information in one place.

Chris von der Lieth, BWise Vice President of Sales said “BWise is honored to add Transcontinental as a customer of our GRC software.”
Chris added: “We can serve clients globally, working on many different regulations simultaneously. We understand the challenges of
implementation in multiple languages as is required in Quebec. We are excited to serve Transcontinental in their efforts".
