Wayne brings with him over 20 years of success in building IT businesses to prominence in Europe, most recently with Imprivata. Starting his career in the document image processing and workflow space with Kodak and startup ImageSolve in the late 1980s, he was subsequently responsible for building the European businesses for Watermark Software and web application development specialist SilverStream Software.
He was instrumental in bringing SilverStream Software to IPO in 1999 and subsequently a $230m trade sale to Novell, where he ran Global Alliances based out of the US before bringing Imprivata to Europe in 2005.
Wayne commented: âI find the scale of the market opportunity for Cordys next generation BPM solutions exciting. In the current economic climate, companies cannot afford to waste time, human and financial resources on processes that can rapidly and easily be automated and managed. This is potentially a golden opportunity for Cordys, transforming businesses into agile operations capable of turning a constantly changing business environment into opportunities. I see process innovation and speed of change as the key opportunity for competitive differentiation moving forwards.â
Mark De Simone, Chief Sales and Business Development Officer for Cordys, stated: "Cordys is a leading global technology innovator enabling customers to make rapid changes in their business processes and heralding the new era of cloud applications. The pain being experienced by many organisations has been exasperated in recent months, not least in the need to remain or become more agile and decrease response times to market changes. In Wayne we have a wealth of experience not only in sales and business development, but also extensive knowledge to drive our enterprise forward."
Wayne Parslow is succeeding Jon Pyke â Chief Strategy Officer, who will devote all his time to Corporate Strategy and Marketing at Cordys.
